ElectroCereal here, fellas!

Expocomic is so SOOOOON! i'm very excited about it! we've got TONS of kickass stuff, lots of new posters and prints, and the awesome Nekro and Medusa will be coming to sign some of their astonishing stuff too!!! You've gotta come, fellas, this is gonna be LEGEN....wait for it...DARY!!! (yeah, i'm a HIMYM fan xD). This week i'm posting some of my stuff for expocomic, a set of classic ghibli's movies' prints! I've done this three and our beloved MorbidCookie has done three more, six awesome movies for you!

First of all, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind!! My favourite Ghibli movie! When i was a kid i watched that movie like a gazillion times. It ROCKS!

Princess Mononoke! This movie is awesome too, my second favourite of all time.

Aaaand, Howl's Moving Castle! One of the latest Ghibli movies, but still rocking hard. That steampunk ambient and the story are great (but the ending is WTF?!?!srsly!! the book is better, anyway ;) )

Hey hey hey!! Sorry for the delay, but this week has been CRAZY! I went to the north to visit some family and friends, I spent almost all the time walking, talking and visiting galleries and museums so I didnt have much time to draw, but thats the ventage of drawing, u can do it everywhere!!

Hiya, pals!! ElectroCereal here, as every Wednesday!
Since Madrid's Expocomic is just next month, we're starting to show the stuff that we have done for it!
Well, at least part of it ;).
Here is the process for a poster that has been driving KidChaos and me MAD. Seriously, we've changed it a dozen times and still we're not happy with the results xD. But don't be afraid! Our super-awesome fella Nema is going to take the challenge and redraw the poster from the very beginning (i've already seen the sketches and, folks, IT'S GREAT).
Anyway, i'm not sad about me being unnable to complete this stuff (well, only a little ;)) 'cos i've learned a lot of useful things about perspectives and anatomy! (and a lot of "how to make things look COOL" LOL).

Here's the process! We started with a very dynamic and cool sketch of the prince and elika (hey, the new game ROCKS, ok? i love it!)But after a few cleanups and redraws we were not happy with it...so KidChaos tried a new approach to the couple doing something similar to the original game box. (image 2) I tried my own version (image 1) and...EPIC FAIL xD so Pedro redrew his sketch taking mine as the base and overpowered it.
Still didn't like it! Though guys eh? And so i drew another piece, which, of course, sucked a lot and ended fixed for me (Pedro, i know i suck, please don't kill me xDD i've really learned a lot, thank you very much, boss T__T) by the chief.But still it wasn't OK!!! OMFG! So i changed the perspective and after a few sketches, i made a clean lines for the prince. Here they are!!
And well...though we had only elika and some sketchy BG to do...we are still not satisfied with the results (this is one of the "Cursed Prints" of this year xD). So, here comes Nema to the rescue!! He'll save us and the print from being devoured by the "uncoolness" and the mediocrity ROFL. GO GO NEMA!

Short post today!

While I go finishing my renditions, I'll start updating some of the artwork we're putting together for the upcoming Expocomic, in Madrid (December 10th - 13th)

As long as I wanna do more personal stuff asides of the workload , here you go with a T-shirt design I did. It was fun to do something with so much freedom, but also so so so challenging, ya know, flat inks and stuff. BTW, none of these picz is the final one, tho. Just different wipz!

And this are the last 2 i've done. What dou you think? Any improvement?

The hardest part in this last two was the movement and naturally, but I'm really happy with how they ended :D

For november I was thinking about drawing people from different times, u know, like early 18th century people or Romans, maybe some mayans! how knows? Can be cool to practice portrayal and clothes :D

Hi ho, fellas!! ElectroCereal back again with this week's stuff.
First of all....i SUCK at drawing clothes xD yeah, it's hell of a job trying to get realistic shapes for every kind of fabric and stuff. Anyway, KidChaos told me to start practicing my sequentials and narrative stuff, so that's what i'll do on November (that way, i also have to practice backgrounds, anatomy, perspective, clothes and the infinity of things i suck at xD). For now, i'll leave you with this:

Hiya guyz!

Quick update, cuz yesterday my net was crap, couldn't have any straight conv on msn and every image attached to the mail was a total fail! dammit!

Anyway, going ahead with the "late homages" plan, here I bring today my sketchy rendition of 'Rai Rivet', created by my fellow flamez Robaato.

Also, Cheeks' character 'Kuta' , it was too bad I couldn't enter the Card Contest he made for his vinyl figures thingo. It was fun to draw Kuta, anyway!

Other than that I've been at a Con in Málaga(in the south of Spain) this weekend, with some cool guests such as Luis Royo or Colin Arthur (the guy who made the FUJUR animatronic!!) Here's a pic with some cool chicks who were signin' stuff there. Check them out! Buy their artbooks!!!

Yeah, folks! ElectroCereal is back into the arena!

I'm so pumped up with this new beginning of the studio...wooosh!! i'm gonna do my best!

My subject for this month will be clothes. Yeah, i know, i have several problems with almost EVERYTHING (anatomy, perspectives, backgrounds, girls, angles, and so on and on....T__T i'm a f***ing noob), but i'll take those problems one by one, get them, tackle them to the ground and smash the s**t out of 'em Ò___Ó

So! My subject will be getting used to draw realistic clothes (and not the squared hard shit i usually do..DAMN YOU, TORIYAMA!!!). But since i haven't got anything right now (i decided the subject just minutes ago xD i was gonna do a sketch-a-day to warm up and getting familiar with drawing everyday) i'll upload three chibis i got here and never uploaded and a concept sketch for my final project of my degree. Hope you like it!!

Hey flamerz!
New planning today! We're back to the daily updates. The thing we're gonna do in the blog now is to practice those weak points in our artwork. The subject will change every month (more or less)

Apart from tecnique, one of my more painful problems has always been the lack of time I've had to do deserved homages or pin ups to my buddies, aswell as collabs with 'em, so this will be my subject this month!

Today I show you my part of a collab with Jorge 'Zurdo' Molina, great guy, and even greater artist. I did Batman, he'll do Lobo ... DC antiheroes!

Second one is a sketch for a project that my buddy Will Calligan and Randy Green started together called Cherry Bomb. Go have a look! it looks dope. Hope next week it get's done!

Hey, all-

Rob here with the Friday post. Currently, we are gonna start posting things we need to work on. And since I'm basically out of it in the mode of drawing, I have to flex my muscles a bit.

Basically, I normally would do these before starting a project or client work, but I've been so out of it lately, that I just totally lost focus. These are 60-second drawings on each pose. Really gets me back in the habit of being flowy and whatnot, since I've slowly been gaining the eye of being perfect on the first try, which I have to stray away from.

I will have updates next week on parts of the human anatomy I know I need to work on. Until then, Rob out.

What a crazy summer it has been! While our Pink Panther is still missing, too bad most of us had to take a lil hiatus. Ya know how it is guys, life sucks at some point, specially this year when everyone is fucked up and strugglin badly.

De la pelicula Pride and Prejudice.
Of the movie Pride and Prejudice

I have to be honest, i love this movie (and the book, also).

I find it quite beautiful and romantic, not to mention im a huge fan of Jane Austen!.

Anyway, that's not the point XD, i did this just as color practice while watching the movie (of course, i paused the scene XD i dont have a photographic memory) so, dont expect her to look like Keira Knightley herself because this is an excersice and it didnt took more than an hour and a half to finish each one (i meant to find a way to color faster and with a more natural palette)

My favourite is the first one (wich is really the last one because i did the second one first XD) and yours?

i have two others but those are still WIP's because my hand is hurting and i can't draw too much.

Tendría que ser honesta y decir que me encanta esa película :F, y el libro, aparte.
La encuentro muy bonita y romantica, sin mencionar que soy friki fan de Jane Austen y encima de esa epoca.

Como sea, eso no es el punto XD, esto no hice solamente como practica de color mientras veia la peli(claro que le puse 'pausa' a la escena jajajaja no tengo memoria fotografica) asi que no esperen que se paresca mucho a Keira Knightley porque no me tomo mas de 1 hora y media cada uno (era el chiste de la practica, encontrar la forma de colorear mas rapido y con una paleta mas natural).

Me gusto mas el primero (que vendria a ser el segundo, mas bien, porque el de abajo lo hice primero XD) y a ustedes?

tengo otros dos mas pero estan en proceso aun porque me duele mucho la mano y no puedo dibujar aun.

ElectroCereal here, back again with moar stuff!
This time, it's a little chibi i've done for Chocolatita's jam. The theme was drawing ourselves as monsters, dressed like monsters or being really one, whatever we liked. I've draw myself as some kind of mix between the Headless Rider from the legend of Sleepy Hollow, and some knight/samurai guy. Yeah, i'm cool like that xD

Another news...This weekend i'll be going to my beach house, there's no internet there, so i might be off for the rest of the month (or maybe i'll be able to catch some wifi or connect sometimes using my father's laptop. Yeah its true, I've been out from the world, living in an Island as a boom, eating odd food and taking a lot of sun, yeah! But I'm back and I want to draw a lot.

Here you have a Prev of a drawing that I'm doing for a friend. She's not so bad as in the illustration, but when I met her, I thought she was.

I did not took photo references, and did not used any splatter brush or texture. As you will see, it needs more work on the black splatter.

It steel needs to finish some things, and I'de like to put complementary colors on the shadows, So, from here, I'm asking Lavah to help me to finish it, she allways knows hoe to do with colors!

Heya there guyz!

Not much to submit this week, since all I'm doon has to remain secret yet! :(

These days I've been organizing old files, wich was a total mess and found out all the sketches from the Spidey book, first cover. Many people has asked for the original art from this cover, too bad it wasn't done in one only piece ahahaha I could have get a nice moneh for it.

Hi ho, folks! ElectroCereal here again!
After the awesomeness of our bro Robaato, it's my turn to upload some stuff! I'll finish with the Tarot BIO today, at least!! Let's get to it, then

The Tower represents the structures that the Man creates as the image of God's ones. Since they're created by human hands, and only in the Material plane, they're ever changing, ever being destroyed. Yep, that's me and cookie falling from our flat xD (and there's our little cat too xD)

The star represents the ones who believe in you and support you through your jorney through life. For me, they are my godparents (dunno if this is right O.o godparents?), the ones who have been supporting me and cheering me up to became the best man i can since i was born :3 Love 'em!

The Moon are the dreams and chimeric hopes that one puts into the future. For me, that's becoming a professional artist, of course. (The dogs and crab stuff is from the original card, no worries)

The Sun was one of the most difficult cars to make. As i understand this card, it represents the activities that "enlight" you. The things that make you shine, cheer up and, eventually, evolve through your life's path. Don't know if that's a good interpretation or not, but here's the card anyway xD

Judgement. Easy one. As you already thought, it's about the judgement of your life's actions, it's about the right or wrong decisions you've made and the good or bad consequences that your actions have generated. Not much to say about it, that's just the two faces of myself (as light and dark in everyone's soul). Who will win the match for my soul??? xDD (notice that my "real" or trueself is the bad one xDD ROFL)

The World is evolution! period xD it's about the evolution that everyone achieve in a lifetime and how this evolution gets reflected in the next cycle. I added the Kabbalah's life tree because i love Kabbalah and it's about evolving too!

Aaaand last one!! The Fool isn't in the normal Arcanas, anyway. It represents the Man, just that. The Man who walks his path, towards his next cycle, carrying his actions and his thoughts and everything that influentiates in his life with him. (I've realized that i feel very silly trying to resume the meanings of this cards in english xDDD).

Holy Crap!! It's saturday now!! I've been very busy with all my final exams and stuff, so i'm a little out of this world right now. All went well (well, if failing 3 subjects and got MASSIVE amount of homework until september is something that goes well, actually xDD) and here i am back again with my Tarot BIO! No long speechs this week, just the pics and a short description. Let's GOGOGOGOGOGO!!

The Strenght represents the hability that has been mastered by oneself's pure will and constant efforts. Of course, that would be drawing in my case (still i haven't mastered it, i know, but hey! i'm trying!!)

The Hanged Man is that things that usually distract you and don't allow you to keep evolving in your life. xD easy one.

The Death is not about your death, neither anyone's death. It's about transformation. One cycle ends (dies) and another one starts. It's very related with The Wheel of Fortune. So there i am, "killing" my older cycles and living my actual one!

The Temperance tells about mediation. It's the one that helps resolving problems and happen between the two parts of a conflict. That would be my sister, always between my parents and me xD.

The Devil means the conquer of the evolution by strenght. Nothing spiritual nor reflexive, just the will of oneself and the strenght, kinda egoist but still valid. This was a difficult one. I drew an old friend of mine (koke) in this, because he reminds me a little of the card xD (he even has got his beer!! ROFL!)

Etching and aquatint on copper

Hi darlings ;)! !!

Finally I can share something new! This time it's something different and more traditional than the things I use to do.

Here you are a couple of prints I made in my etching class, intaglio made by etching and aquatint techniques on copper.

This is a part of my personal work for the subject.
I showed my Wings Simplicity series to my teacher as an idea for it, and he liked it encouraging me to do a couple of plates in that style.

These are the results of it. Obviously I'm not an expert in the technique and I've only had 4 months to learn how to work in etching.

Anyway, I'm happy with the final pieces, I've worked the copper many hours and I think it came out pretty well.

I also show you the copper plates, so you can see them, since I think its interesting to see them too, and some detail of the prints.

This was actually a gift for a guy who helped me with all the defament stuff, yeah in case you haven't heard about it, I've been suffering some defament , lot of shit about me not sending originals for FREE, yeah, I know!

Hellboy versus Cloak and Darknees and the Darklins coming from his colak. Fun stuff!

Those are th first sketch cards I've ever draw, Actually it was pretty fun, Although I don't like drawing so small, but it's ok. At the end I drew Bizzaro more rough and rocky, but I didn't scan it, I should. SORRY!

Ok, that's a design I did for a guy, inspired in the Machintosh commercial directed by Ridley Scott, I think in 1988.

That's Outlaw Angel, nice design, she got a soul sword!

Hey everybody! It's ElectroCereal, here again for you all! Last week i didn't upload anything, lazy me, 'cause of finals and all that sort of stuff :( I'm so busy and stressed right now -__-
Enough whining!! Let's show some more of my Tarot Bio!!

The Lovers card represents the bite of desire, that incites the Man to be one with the Universal. Love is inspiring and one strong feeling that makes oneself to evolve and create. The soul gets excited and projects a spark towards the High, that connects with oneself in the physical plane. It was obvious that this card had to be myself and Vicky (a.k.a. that little koala that sticks around me).

This is gonna be fun. The Chariot!! This arcana basically means movement in everyone of the seven states (that is, every domain). Particularly, this card represents the material currents that drag the man and force him to be always in movement. Obviously, this mean that the Chariot in my life is represented by Burnin' Flamez studio and all of you, bros xD This studio and their awesome artists are what makes me go on and keep up working and improving! I got a little carried away with this idea and came up with this card. That's us all, burning the world and its barriers down! Making a new path for ourselves and the generations to come after! ;) The one with the electric powers and the flag is me. Below me, from left to right and up to down, there is KidChaos with his fire powers, Xab on the front, also with firey stuff and his SWAT jacket, Fish (who, of course, can talk with the sea animals and control the tides xD), and Murf, with water powers. Above, there is Cnidario at the left side (he can transform into any biologic being on earth xD)and Nema at the right side (didn't know what powers he would like, but he's cool enough to be there xD). There's also Juanxo, jumping with his monkey/spiderman like powers, Brosa (who secretly is son goku, we all know xD) and above him the saiyan lord Pansho! There are also our Burnin' Spaceship, who Javas drives, Foo (he's our big vampire bro), Pixeltool (who controls magic and stuff) and our lovely Burnin'puff Girls on top! Lavah, Vhea and Vicky, saving the day and beating bad guys! xDDD

The Justice represents the judgement of the activities that the man has done, for good or bad, during his trip through Matter (represented by the Chariot) and the balance or imbalance generated by his acts, and the happy or sad consequences of it. As my personal jiminy cricket, i have my good old friend: Francis. The chosing was obvious.

The Hermit is the Wisdom, basically.It's the search of truth, needed for the Justice to judge. My particular advisor, also with Francis, is Mars, so i chosed him to be the hermit in my bio. Since he's a HUGE fan of Lovecraft and all that kind of stuff, i added the tentacles and eyes in order to make everything a little creepier.

And now for the last card for today. That's the Wheel of Fortune, which represents the ongoing of one's life into new cycles, which are consequences of the previous ones. It's a cycle whose return to the start point reaches the experience adquired on its tour, wich will be translated on good or bad circunstances. Very karma like, you know. I didn't want to go on the original look of the card, with the three kinds of evolution and all that. Instead, i picked up some "iconic myselfs" of my life and put them all together to represent all that. What goes around, it comes around, you know ;)

What's up lil' flamerz! This is Robaato, and it's FRYDAYE!!!!

Been up to some mean stuff lately. Getting commissions out of the way, workin' at the new J.O.B., and been getting back to drawing more stuff that I wanted to for the longest. Recently, I've been getting back into drawing Ruby, one of my most well-known and popular OC of mine. And I'm pretty sure you guys seen the post of this image. Last week, I gave you guys a small method to my madness, but this week, since people been asking me, you get a more in-depth viewpoint on how I do things now. So let's go!

1. Here's the base Raw sketch. I did this at work, so I had all the time in the world to get the lines I want. Being in this setting gives me liberty to try new things and be more adventurous, unlike at home when I can get lazy. XD So yeah, throw yo sketch in the scanner, level it out, yada yada.

2. I took the sketch in Painter X and inked it up using the cover pencil. Again, I chose to take my time. What worked with the inking process well is that I already had my lines established and that I don't have to guesstimate when zoomed all in on Painter. Unfortunately, Painter doesn't have a dual-screen mode allowing you to stay zoomed in on one monitor and in full view on the other.

3. Going to Photoshop CS3, I selected all the linework except the eyes, and cut out about 35% of the opacity on them. This is to give my lines a "color hold" look. Much easier method for color holds to me than all that masking and extra layer-making. XD

4. Droppin' the flats. I went ahead of myself and rendered the eyes, lips, and earrings just so I won't have to worry about them later. As you can see, I start my flats in darker tones. Reason being, if I'm having trouble with my palette selections or don't feel like picking colors, I just use a specialized layer (Overlay, Soft Light, etc.) and the color white for my highlights. But in this piece, I picked the colors.

5. Rendering. I took a small soft brush, changing the sizes depending on the strands, and started rendering the hair.

6. Then for highlights, I selected some small zig-zag areas for the shines, threw white on em, duplicated the layer, set the top layer to overlay, and gaussian blurred the bottom layer to a percentage I'm satisfied with.

7. Sexy skin renderin'! First stage of skin rendering, I put the initial highlights, using a soft brush with varying opacities.

8. Secondary skin highlights. Took a more opaque color and blended in the secondary highlights, giving it a realistic look.

9. Wash, rinse, and repeat! I rendered everything else in the same manner as I did on previous areas, added shines on the jewel, and threw on a purplish-tinted gradient layer over the whole image on 50% Linear Light to give it a variance in depth from the top to the bottom.

That's it! Hope you guys learn from this, and I may get my head chewed off from letting you know the secrets! That's how Bruce Lee got killed.

Hey hey hey a little bit late, but I think everyone is sleeping now so I thnnk I'm almost on time! So here you have what I'm doing for a comic project. This is the most enjoyable part, I think, but its also the part to discuss with the writter of the story.

Ok, here you have the Charcter design, from the first and ugly steps to the final result. He wanted me to draw something for guys on 13-15 years old, so I had to adapt me, but I'm feeling good with this. Oh, the colors are not finished, this are just the flat colors to see how to paint every character

I also add the first designs of the sky favelas city were they live and an airplane design. No documentation on this, every time its easier to draw things with the stuff I have kept on my mind.

Hi hommies!
Nema speaking. Last saturday I was a big bitch and didn't post anything, that was because there was a rap festival(Cultura Urbana) here in Madrid and X-zibit, Common, Dizze Rascal and many more came, so I was getting ready and didn't remember about the post, my bad.
This week I've been pretty busy with a new Spider-man script for Marvel UK, it came out really awesome, so as soon as I'll be able to post it I'll do!

That's an Emma Frost commission I did for a guy from DA, lot of flowing clothes!

This is another commission I was suposed to do for a guy from DA too. But I took too long to answer him and he just hired other guy, in fact it was Murphy, so it's cool hehe. But I was having so much fun drawing it that I just decided to finish it, for me, because I’m worth it!

How's it going, folks? ElectroCereal here!
I've just got back from a kind of renaissance fair near my house! (it's not like an american renaissance fair, it's more like lots of tents with handmade stuff and good food!!). As some of you may know, i believe in things like tarot, magic, the occult, runes, divination and all that sort of stuff, and since it's been a lot of time since i last had my future read on the cards i went to the fortune-teller to do so. Well, the more i get into this, the more i believe!! She nailed EVERYTHING!! wow.
Enough with my personal stuff xD let's get working! This week i'll upload a personal project for my illustration class. Everyone in class had to tell his/her bio the way he wanted, so i decided to tell about me through the Major Arcana cards and their meanings. Here we go people!

Here's the back of every card. Nothing very difficult, a simple design with lame artnouveauish corners and my sign on the center.

Here's the first Arcane, the Magician/the Mage/the Mountebank/the Juggler. This Arcane represents the power of will and wisdom, the active and creative power within anyone. Also, the posibility of handling problems and situations with wisdom and skill and make a good decision. So, here i am with all my might and power! ROFL
The High Priestess represents the passive power of anyone, the capacity of reason and to retain our creative impulses in order to model and improve our creations. It's the intuition and the occult. And so is vicky (our little cookie) to me! The one who retains me from going nuts and do all sorts of crazy shit (tho she's even crazier than me xD)
This card represents the power of matter put to disposition of man for his creations. So, i thought my mother would fit here perfectly, as she is who usually lends me the money to get my stuff done (not only the creative stuff, sometimes even food and everything! xD)
The Emperor is the card that represents the one who judges actions and gives some useful advices.He's the one who lends the material energies needed to get the creative thoughts to reality. That would fit my father, he usually just judges my actions and works, even sometimes he tries to give me some advice (he's not a talking one neither loving or emotional xD we don't get along very well usually xD). In spite of that, he usually helps me with big handmade projects or gets me the contacts or resources i need to get my stuff done ;).

And nooooow, it's LOL time!! you know this guy! right! he's our crazy leader, KidChaos himself!! Since Pedro has been my art teacher for the last two years, and since i met him i've improved a lot (but still got to improve ten times more!!), it was clear he had to be on this card. The Hierophant card represents the one who receives divine inspiration and judges and teaches with absolute equity.(Though his equity and teaching style is very hard and kinda frustrating!!! xD) (

I'll cut here for today. 22 cards are too much cards to show in one day xD next week, 5 more!! Stay tuned! And hope you dig them, they're a very personal part of mine and my life!

So here's the image that I used for the header logo. Better yet, I'll give you guys a quick "how-I-do-thangs".

1. Just a quick fast sketch. This took no longer than 10 minutes to do.

2. Took it in Manga Studio, and inked it real fast. I added all the extra details.

3. Quickly took it in Photoshop CS3 and slapped the flats on her.

4. Added the highlights using the color white and overlay layer settings, then added the paint on her and the slops. Then after that, I added my logo, some more paint, then VOILA!

But enough with that. Here's some special stuff for you ol' skool gamers out there...

Im sorry, i dont have anything new to show you guys, but here's an oldie: Etush, one of my most favourite characters. She was part of an RPG i was working on, (a proyect for my own, nothing serious) called: The twins prelude. She's a princess and actual leader of a little clan of centaurs called by 'normal' people (humans) "The White horses" (how come im so original? *cough*)...cause u know, they all have this albino look (they actually do have achromia) and ppl think they're divine yet also cursed. They call themselves Seelenids (from SELENIO (yes, like the chemical element also) and the greek word σελήνιον or SELENE, and means Moon glanz or just Moon...) cause the story says they are descendents of one of the 50 daughters of the greek goddess and her lover endymion.

SOOO.. they kinda have titan's blood running trough their veins,and this makes them have a really unusual strenght and beauty (in females at least) and...that's it... this is not a friggen letter XD

Hello again fellow followers!

Uncle pixeltool again at the stage! Today I brings an artwork created for the cover for a novel titled Rielar y los Reinos del Mar. A fantasy novel about Mermaids, so much water and blue tones run around this cover. I enjoy a lot doing this, and I like a lot the way this comes out. The beautiful Natalie Paquette and her stunning eyes are the main characters, without doubt.

The back of the cover just looks empty, but that was intentionally under requirements from the editor. (I suppose they will add the respective text there)

Hello, folks!! ElectroCereal rockin' the house this time!
I've being soooooo busy lately 'cause of the incoming exams and everything about the classes. I've got to do all the work i haven't done in nearly a year!! OMFG!! But i'm still working hardpoijfapsofapsdkfnapqieralksñdnf1'23u1ohdsf (ROFL!)
Hopefully i'll pass at least everything except 2 or 3 of the subjects (and that will be passed on september, so no worries ;) ), the only problem with that are my parents (They're like Galactus, Emperor Palpatine, Arthur Petrelli, Darkseid and Terminator all together in two persons, but less cooler and more sonofabitch! T__T) but meh, i'll figure it out!

Last week i bought a cool hardcover sketchbook and i'm drawing things everyday, so i'll post that here since is rough and fresh work! (still i'll post more finished thingies if there are any).

This week i'll start with a cool sketch i did last week about one of my favourite Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic characters: Mission Vao, the young and sexy twi'lek thief!! (Maybe you had seen it in DA already, who knows!)

And now, for the sketchysketchs! First of all, some classmates' portraits i did for illustration class. I've realized that i'm not good at portraits...and can't draw people ugly! i always draw them more beautiful than they really are!! xDD OH SNAP!!

Noooow, for XMen and specially New Mutants fans...CHAMBER!!

And closing the sketches, a little Moguri from Final Fantasy series (my take on moguris, like them furry and kitty/squirrel/racoon-like, not that weird things of Kingdom Hearts and all that)

Crazy Spidey and more concepts!!

Hey guyz!!
Nice thursday for posting some crazy concepts! And for that, here he comes, our friendly neighbour! Spiderman!
Hahah I had this crazy idea last day of redesigning this superhero, but in a more modern way, not those shiny clothes, something more useful/technologic and a bit more serious or darker :3

Let me explain some of the gadgets he'd hve in this suit.
-Starting with his head, we have the mask, it's a gas mask, and it works as an armor piece too, so not more face punches for spidey! it'd also have a microphone system inside or something like that so he can talk to..dunno SHIELD center? or somewhere like that lol
-The goggles have an infrared filter so he can see at night, and a radio system in his ears, so he can listen to the police radio for example. Anyway, I think the goggles look more spider like, and they look totaly cool to me hahah
-And well, some more features... it'll be a bulletproof but flexible fabric, so he can jump and run everywhere but be some kind of armor against fireguns.
-And at least, apart from the usual webthrowers in his wrists. He has needles in its knuckles, with some kind of sedative drugs, so he can bunk down enemies easily when he punches them.
He carries some supplies for both of these features in his utility belt.
And that's it for now, haha sorry for this bible long stuff...

Here's is my first attempt in to art for a novel cover. This is a novel by Philip Pullman(golden compass) called "Ruby in the smoke" for guys n girls between 12-15 years, so I had to make somethin like Narnia or Golden Compass or Harry Potter.

The publishers have translated it into my native lenguaje, Catalan, but they have not passed me the sinopsis, so it is in english, but I hope you dont read it.

There you have the illustration without tipo and with tipo, hope you like it, and sure I will correct some stuff.

I've been sculpting these days, I wish I could show you but I don't have a camera u_u so today I'm posting a drawing about one of my fave characters ever. Fast sketching and coloring, so its kinda crappy.

I think I prefer the "handmade font" by far.

So yeah I decided to color another drawing by Nema for this week since he has been posting some pretty bad ass stuff lately.
I am working on another piece of his which is a little more ambitious than this =D
This one was fun to color simple quick but still good looking (because of the lines)
I originally had the bg fading from red to black but I am glad I changed it to what it is now.
I was tempted to ad a texture to it (no not the gritty one ;) ) but decided to ditch it and go with a simple clean bg.

I totally fell asleep, so I'm basically posting tuesday instead of monday! DAMM IT!!!

So here it is anyway, a bit of everything!
Today I'll show ya a couple of covers I did for my pal Mark from Australia, for a project about a surf God boy who fights aliens. In the moon. Oh yesh!!

As many of you have seen (or not :P) on DeviantArt, it's been some busy weeks for me doing comissions, so here's a sneak peak on the last ones I've done!

But also I've been doing new poses for DeviantArt mascot Fella (hehehehe funny name XD) so here's some geeky Fella painter Fella and ZOMBIE FELLA! FTW!

as you can see, I'm a little bit hang over, yeah. Past week I decided not to go party this weekend, and I don't know how, but I went to a Rap jam in Sanse and then to the Deep, and FUCK! I'm fucked up right now.

OOOOOOOK! This week was a pretty busy week, I drew lot of things, but I can't just show you some.
Here is the first thing I did, Harley Queen ( I think) that wa for my GF who love that character. It was fun to draw it.

That's my crew! nah! just some friends we recently met. They are pretty fun and they have some cool styla'! I'm in the middle just in case you didn't notice!

And last but not least the commission I did for my dad's boss (yeah yeah) He wanted some hot chicks! so there you go!

What's up cats! This is Robaato, posting for the very first time via Burnin' Flamez, and yeah, I've been extra busy as of late... Really been Freaky Fridays due to the nonexistent bloggin', but Pedro got my @$$ in gear. XD

I also plan on going to Otakon this year in Baltimore, and I have some print work I'm doing for that. Today, I've to an important conclusion:

Beeing an adult sucks.

That's why I'll never grow up, I think I must be small for some reason (beeing 1'44cm tall must have some reason), and It really has to be it. I've been the last year trying to be an adult, and god...I really suck at it.

This last year my inner child went away, to Disneyland or somewhere (that bitch don't want to confess) without me, and now I know this has been the key of all my problems, sure.

Keep an eye on yours, they use to run away when you get to your 19 birthday (nowadays I think it's at 14 or something...), mine stayed with me faithfully untill my 21st, but that bitch will now stay with me forever, ha!

Ok, that's not mature at all, I know, that's why I'm planning to grow up a little, just a little, enough to pay the bills, to face problems and stuff, and you know? I'll be a really good mature kid.

Here is Javas presenting anotha member of KPOW, the music band. You already know Beep, so now its the time to show you one of my fav characters, Quark: This freak is able to sell comics during the day and as he says, save the city during the night. Born in Madrid and raised in Star Trek's Enterprise. He is in charge of the bass guitar (sometimes he is even able to play it).

I did this some time ago and it also appears at the megacool BF Artbook, but I´ll post some new stuff soon, I´ll promise. Have lots of things to do U_U.

Hey Folks!

Pixeltool at desk again, and yes, it's design time! Today I bring to all of you a project I'm actually working on, a WIP. The metal band Bride contact me, asking for some artwork for the next album, and... Whata surprise! I'm really glad for that, and after some emails and some chat, the vocalist/frontman give me enough info to create a piece. The new album (title and full concept) set a situation of self-destruction that allow to rise a new kind of life in us, with a more clear and authentic sense of life, beyond religion and taking us to the true meaning of what spiritual life really means. After some sketches, some internet search for images, coffe, heavy metal at my speakers and textures and soooo many photoshop layers, I present to you all my very first release of the artwork for that album cover.

I've just saw Wolverine:Origins (the movie, you know) and..

All started great!!! The characters were good, the story was going well, the references to the original Marvel universe were acceptable...and then, on the second half (more or less)..They throw it all away down to the toilet and flushed it out!! WHAT THE FUCK!?!
I got out of the cinema with some kind of sour taste...As an action movie/superheroes movie, the movie is good. Enjoyable if you don't think about it too much.
But if you're a Marvel fan...Just don't watch it..You'll have to get your brain at lightspeed trying to connect the references, the new shitty "we-made-it-two-minutes-ago" thingos, and lots of stuff to the original comicbooks T__T sad but true.
Meh.

And now, let's get onto it! New stuff!!
Two quick concept sketches for a nine-paged comic Pedro offered me to do. Nobody liked them, so i didn't get into it. Sad, but i agree with them. This is not my best work nor worthy of making a comic out of it. Hard work, then!

It's just a wip of a little sketch i'm doing right now. Trying to understand and make my own version of the nefar/leinil yu/keneth rocafort's style (i love it!!). Weird pose, weird anatomy, weird everything -__- my bad
Aaaaand the last one!! Another WIP of something i'm working on too. It's a gift for a friend of mine, two of our OCs as girls...and as strippers!! ROFL!!

Joak's here! I'm a BurninFriend and actually I'm the responsible of spreading Burnin'Flamez's word through valleys, mountains and all over the world. (Actually, I'm the Scientific Consultat too XD)
